Medical Contrarians Embrace Anti-Semitism
Time Remains a Flat Circle
Since ancient times, the Jewish people have often been blamed for the horrors of pestilence as they’ve swept across the Old World. “Blood libel” is a medieval myth that Jews harvested blood for matzo ball soup, and in the 14th Century, the Jewish people were blamed for the bubonic plague and targeted with violence, including being burnt alive in mass numbers. Of course, the real cause was a bacteria carried on fleas and rats, which flourished in the poor hygiene standards and antiquated medicine of a time commonly referred to as the “Dark Ages.”
In early March 2020, as SARS-CoV-2 made landfall in the United States and began to unleash chaos, white nationalists immediately began to blame Jews for a virus that emerged out of China, with still unknown origins, claiming the Jews “manufactured it and are going to take advantage of the markets collapse through insider trading,” according to Alex Friedfield for Times of Israel. Sadly, it was Asian-Americans and Asian immigrants who bore the brunt of the violence from racist Americans looking to blame someone for the ongoing catastrophe.
On July 15th 2023, the anti-vax grifting provocateur Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. - who previously caused the deaths of dozens of people in Samoa by peddling anti-vax propaganda leading to a measles outbreak - in a drunken rambling at an Upper East Side restaurant decided to revive this cursed myth by claiming that SARS-CoV-2 was a genetically engineered bioweapon designed to wipe out Caucasian and Black Americans, with Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese being the “most immune.” Here are his exact words:
“COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately. COVID-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and Black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.”
Now after declaring his belief in a racist and outlandish conspiracy theory, RFK, Jr. has refused to suggest any sort of preventative measures that would protect Americans’ health - from vaccines, to PPE, to any sort of public health mitigations. Hey, if the Jews and Chinese are unleashing a bioweapon on our shores - screw it! Let the damn thing rip, it’s not like there’s a mountain of research pointing to permanent brain & organ damage from even mild infections, or anything.
According to FiveThirtyEight polling (barf, we know) RFK is stuck hovering around a mere 15% and doesn’t have a serious path to victory in the Democrat primary, or the Presidency. However, his grandstanding and ridiculous contrarianism as an anti-vax grifter has drawn him some remarkable admirers, some of which are high ranking academic professors who have made a name for themselves as public advocates for the SARS-CoV-2 virus. These professors have dedicated years trying their hardest to cover up all the tangible harms this virus can do to children’s bodies.
Any professor endorsing & embracing an anti-Semitic crank like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is an outlandish and outrageous embarrassment for any University, and immediate proof one is unfit to educate students in anything, much less serious matters like public health that have complicated ethics & politics. However, we’re talking about fundamentally unserious people who have treated the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, which has killed and crippled millions around the world, like a game with no real-world consequences or responsibility.
Facing an Ideological Virus’ Resurgence
The Holocaust and murder of six million Jews didn’t happen overnight - it started with the disabled, actually - and German doctors were on board with this, believing this would somehow improve “public health” by culling the “weak.”
As covered in the International Journal of Law & Psychiatry:
“during the Weimar Republic nearly 50% of German physicians became early joiners of the Nazi Party, a greater percentage enrollment than for any other profession at the time, topping even lawyers and businessmen…Doctors were represented in the SS seven times more often than the average employed German male…it is likely that the percentage of German physicians who were early joiners of the Nazi Party is actually much higher than 50%.”
“Most significantly, physicians played an instrumental role in the notorious euthanasia program, ‘Action T4’, through which approximately 275,000 patients judged by physicians as ‘incurably sick’ were killed by starvation, medication, or gassing…Hitler granted physicians full authority to administer these so-called ‘mercy deaths’, many of which were committed without even a personal examination of the patient."
The sort of ideals that made these atrocities acceptable have no place in medical academia. They have to be snuffed out at the root before these weeds can contaminate the entire field. Especially now that millions of Americans have been disabled by COVID-19. So just who exactly, in the academic medical community, has endorsed and publicly supported the Presidential campaign of a racist anti-vax crank?
University College of London’s Francois Balloux
Director of the UCL Genetics Institute & Professor Francois Balloux is a previous subject of the PAI, as a highly public facing UK government advisor with a drinking problem and a long, tragic list of failures and elaborate fictions in support of mass infecting unvaccinated children with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. He endorsed the anti-vax grifter Robert F. Kennedy, calling him “intelligent and well read,” as well as “fundamentally honest.” None of this is true.
RFK Jr. claimed that vaccines contain microchips, which is causing autism and peanut allergies, and that Wi-Fi “radiation” is causing cancer. Neither of these claims are based in any fact or scientific literature.
Imagine that - a prestigious government advisor and University of College Professor, singing the praises of a public health saboteur with a sizeable bodycount. Unsurprisingly, the government that Balloux advised on how to manage the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has recorded thousands of pediatric COVID-19 deaths. Misery loves company, it seems.
The reason Balloux sings the praises of RFK is because he’s a believer in Anti-Consequentialism - that people should not be judged on the consequences of their actions, but simply their “intent.” As a wealthy and comfortable academic who doesn’t have to face the reality of his actions, he’s allowed himself to take a detached and aloof look at the world, utterly removed from the very real deaths of children that will never realize their dreams or build a better world. Francois can preserve his ego and his delusions of competence, instead of accepting the guilt and retiring in shame.
In the wrestling world, we call this “keeping it kayfabe” - the suspension of disbelief, guided by bizarre rules of the fantasy world that exists overlaid upon reality, yet fully separate from the one the audience inhabits.
Francois Balloux has not condemned Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s racist conspiracy theories, and the University College of London has not taken disciplinary action against Francois for endorsing an anti-vax conspiracy theorist with a bodycount.
University of California San Francisco’s & VK Prasad Laboratory’s Vinay Prasad
Peter Hotez is a Jewish doctor and scientist who has developed a low-cost, patent-free SARS-CoV-2 vaccine to save millions of lives around the world. He has also been a frequent target of violent anti-Semitic abuse. The same sort of anti-Semitism peddled by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who Vinay Prasad claims would “destroy” Peter Hotez. It’s worth mentioning that Vinay Prasad was publicly disavowed by Dean Daniel Jay of the Tufts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in early 2022 for comparing public health measures such as mask & vaccine mandates to the atrocities of Nazi Germany, so such anti-Semitic talk is not unfamiliar to Prasad.
Whilst Hotez has actually saved lives, Vinay Prasad since taking funding from former Enron executive John Arnold (who gave himself an $8 million bonus as Enron fell into bankruptcy) has gone into business for himself as a libertarian anti-vax, anti-public health zealot growing a social media grift across podcasts, Substack, Twitter, and Youtube. He constantly peddles anti-vax and anti-public health fearmongering, slander, and outlandish proclamations, including calls to abolish the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Now we have UCSF’s Professor of Epidemiology & Biostatistics Vinay Prasad publicly fantasizing about an anti-Semitic crank “destroying” a Jewish doctor who has actually saved lives, instead of just ranting in front of a camera for attention all day. These antics have contributed to a constant wave of violent anti-Semitic abuse, including death threats. Hotez’s refusal to be silenced actually earned him the 2021 Milton S. Popkin Award from the Anti-Defamation League, and since then has been harassed by anti-vax cranks in front of his own home, including Alex Rosen, a "clown world enthusiast” who wants you to believe that vaccination is akin to child rape.
Taking to Substack in June, Vinay Prasad proceeds to endorse RFK Jr. - insisting that he be “taken seriously,” and that “there are many parts of his platform that I am a complete supporter of.” This is a public endorsement of an anti-vax crank with an actual bodycount including dozens of children by a University of California San Francisco professor, who has taken funding from the John Arnold Foundation.
This is the sort of atrocious, anti-science grift that, without a formal condemnation of Prof. Vinay Prasad, is considered tolerable behavior by UCSF Administration & the John Arnold Foundation. Anti-Semitism and conspiracies have no place in medicine.
A week after RFK Jr. endorsed the Jewish-Chinese COVID conspiracy, Vinay Prasad returned to Twitter to again on July 23rd to insult Hotez’s masculinity, after Hotez advised the public to protect themselves from a deadly & disabling airborne virus that has killed thousands of American children and disabled hundreds of thousands more.
Vinay Prasad rejects this reality and substitutes his own, peddling endless junk “scientific” publications to his anti-vax, pro-viral audience of conspiracy theorists, suggesting the CDC was inflating pediatric COVID death numbers as well as insisting that Long COVID is an elaborate fiction cooked up by hysterical broads.
This is the sort of unprofessional, childish contrarianism that University of California San Francisco, under Dean Talmadge E. King, Jr., has permitted for years now, and has now crossed the line into endorsing anti-Semitic, anti-vax cranks running for President of the United States. It has helped make UCSF a laughing stock of the medical community, alongside frequent minimizer Monica Gandhi, who has often made a joke of the endless preventable suffering that has upended millions of American lives - same as Prasad, who considers anyone still protecting themselves from a deadly & disabling virus as “mentally ill.”
Vinay Prasad is explicitly declaring that the immunocompromised, the disabled, those undergoing chemotherapy, etc. are “mentally ill” and subhuman for protecting themselves from an airborne virus that has killed and disabled millions worldwide. Instead, they should just roll over and accept death for Prasad’s fantasies of “normalcy,” no matter how many children have to pay the ultimate price.
This is the sort of conduct that the administration of the University of California San Francisco permits, under Dean Talmadge E. King, Jr. and his council.
No wonder Prasad is a big fan of anti-Semites like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. - misery loves company. In truth, Prasad is a pitiful waste forever jealous of actual heroes like Peter Hotez, and latch onto whomever it takes to elevate his public profile to try and get on that same level - even if it means supporting an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist who has gotten dozens of innocent children killed.
The road that leads to atrocities and executions for crimes against humanity is a long and horrific one. If we are to prevent history from repeating itself, then they have to be snuffed out before they can take root. If these sorts of attitudes are permitted, or even encouraged in the case of UCSF which recently promoted Vinay Prasad, then we’re well on our way to heading down the same path that has scarred this Earth and our history as “civilized” human beings irrevocably.
If college administrators are permitting public support for anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists from their faculty, then the legitimacy of those institutions is forever damaged. These bad actors, like Francois Balloux and Vinay Prasad, will continue to push the envelope and see what other horrors they can get away with, spreading the anti-scientific drivel of naked eugenics and anti-vax conspiracy theories like an ideological virus throughout their followers across social media.
From there, it’s easy to realize what comes next. One might say it’s already started, looking at headlines from Canadian newspaper the National Post: “One third of Canadians fine with prescribing assisted suicide for homelessness".
Never again.
