As the United State of Pestilence enters into a state of rapid decline, some of you may be looking for a temporary escape in the form of interactive electronic entertainment. As a scholar of the gaming world dating back to the MS-DOS era, you might be surprised to learn that a number of games have dabbled with pandemics and the politics of them in one form or another. While it may be easy to point to something like Resident Evil and the countless other "zombie" related games, these aren't as interested with the actual moving parts of a pandemic beyond blasting the infected with assorted weaponry and listening to the monologues of absurd villains, like the former pharmaceutical company CEO Albert Wesker:
